honestly if you say even one nice thing to someone it’s very likely that they’ll think about it again at some point and that’s such a beautiful thing? compliment people all the time! what’s the harm! they’ll be thinking about it later and kicking their feet around gleefully. pressing their hands to their face. smiling to themselves. that’s neat. contribute to that. at the very least you’ll brighten their day in that one particular moment you say it and that’s? still very good? still nice? still a nice thing. still means a lot
